Help Victims of Terror
You have seen the horrors of the terrorist attacks against Israel. I can tell you firsthand the suffering is unimaginable.
Within hours of the murderous attack by Hamas, I travelled to southern Israel. There are no words to adequately describe what it feels like to look at hundreds of bodies of innocent people killed simply because they were Jewish. Men, women, children, and even Holocaust survivors were slaughtered. I can’t even describe to you some of the things I’ve seen. This is the worst massacre since the end of the Holocaust.
I’m Dr. Mike Evans, the founder and CEO of the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem. Our mission is clear: to stand with Israel and support the Jewish people. Every day, we are on the front lines providing desperately needed food and urgent care to those who are hurting. Through our Rapid Response Team, we bring aid to the victims of terror, and we were among the first to provide help after the devastating and barbaric terrorist attacks of October 7th.
Today, Israel is in crisis. Virtually every family has felt the anguish of losing loved ones, friends, and neighbors. Entire cities have been evacuated due to the risk of further attacks, and sirens continue to go off throughout the country because of incoming missiles launched by terrorists.
The attackers have exceeded their darkest aspirations, leaving the Israeli people in profound pain and shock. They need help urgently. The ancient command of God, as spoken through the prophet Isaiah, resounds in our hearts: “Comfort ye, comfort ye My people” (Isaiah 40:1).
We need your help. The work we do to protect and support God’s Chosen People through the Rapid Response team wouldn’t be possible without generous friends like you.
It’s not enough to be outraged by these senseless ongoing attacks or shake our heads in disbelief at the persistence of hatred. We can’t wait for someone else to step up; it’s up to you and me.
